About This Program
Suggested Age Range: 12-15
Program Cost: Ages 12-15: $5, Adults: $5
What does healthy vs unhealthy water quality look like? You and your child will get the opportunity to do hands-on science to find out the water quality in our local parks waterways. We’ll test the ph, dissolved oxygen and turbidity of the creek and record our data. This will be an opportunity to learn about what factors contribute to a healthy or unhealthy water system. We’ll practice making educated guesses and how to record scientific data. During our time together we encourage children to ask questions and be the guides of their experience.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds will be given for Nature Neighbor programs. Please come prepared for the elements as refunds are not available for weather-related conditions except in the case of severe weather. If Blandford cancels a program due to severe weather, you will be able to transfer your registration to another similar Nature Neighbors program.
