About This Program
Suggested Age Range: 18+ (children welcome with adult supervision)

Join Blandford Nature Center’s Environmental Educators as they lead a beginner birding hike around the park that focuses on birding by ear. We will use sound to identify birds instead of sight. While the program is aimed at folks who have done little to no birding before, we also welcome more experienced birders to join and share their excitement for this fun pastime! We’ll start with some basic tips for bird identification as well as suggestions for books and phone apps that can used to assist you on your birding quests. This course is great for people with low vision. This program will be fully wheelchair inclusive.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds will be given for Nature Neighbor programs. Please come prepared for the elements as refunds are not available for weather-related conditions except in the case of severe weather. If Blandford cancels a program due to severe weather, you will be able to transfer your registration to another similar Nature Neighbors program.
